Made for one hand

Right- or Left-Handed Mode puts everything right under your thumb.

My Story. I wanted to watch my money closely.

I tried tracking my expenses, but nothing out there was fast enough, accurate enough, or simple enough. I even tried saving my receipts for a while, but they just piled up.

Some apps were powerful, but too complex. Logging a single expense took way too long.

Others connected to my bank account and categorized everything for me, but they constantly got the categories wrong — so I was doing double the work. They also couldn’t split a purchase across multiple categories, like a Costco or Walmart run.

I needed something that let me tap a button, pick a category, and enter a cost. That’s why I built JotExpense. It’s simple, it works, and it builds a great habit: being a conscious spender.

We spend more with a credit card or tap-to-pay than with cash, because our brains barely register the purchase. When you jot down an expense, it registers.
